Yes, if you do not have the access to diagnostic tools, take a sensor or some kind of coil problem instead of the transmission.
Be a mechanical problem with the transmission.

My 08 GT 80000km. auto transmission

When around 3300rpm, upshifting from 3 to 4. I feel a big kick on the transmission.

Get the dealer to witness the problem....
Disconnect the battery, as stated earlier.
Replaced transmission under CPO warranty.
We had almost the same problem, replaced under our 12month/12,000mile certified warranty.

Same problem.
12 days componet on the exterior of the transmission including the TCM and had it flashed again.
I dealt with the problem until I got enough cash up to have the transmission redone if needed.
