Last year on August my British boyfriend decided to move with me to Mexico for good. He took out the Visa Waiver Program as his flight was landing first in America before arriving to Mexico.

ESTA - Google it, fill it out for a transit visa since your country is part of the US visa waiver program ...
You have to deal with two items - ESTA and Visa Waiver Program.

I was arrested and charged for ABH. The charges were dropped and the case was dismissed on the day of the trial. My criminal record is clear and I have no convictions.
Despite being arrested, should I apply for a B2 visa or just go ahead with the VISA...

Our ten year visas have expired in March 2012..we have visited only once in 2002.
As we have a function to be attended,visas need to be renewed,We both are retired.
As per Immihelp and VFS websites,we can apply for renewal through the Visa interview...

Someone I have contact with has been told by a Travel Agent that
points on his Dr Lic means he can't apply for the Visa Waiver Scheme
as that's a conviction...

Hey guys
About 8 years ago I traveled the US using the visa waiver program. Because of an overstay of 3 months a was given a 10 year ban. According to the lawyer I have hired back then this amount of time is very unusual for so little time of overstay...
