I am going to call today Sewing Sunday and HOPE that I can actually get the two things done that I want to. I cut out the pieces to an apron for my daughter and am going to try my hand at a crayon roll for a friends son.

I have sewed for years well over 30 thinking of sewing a work outfit with the details that I want, but realized I *still* don't have a sewing dummy.
I have to say that I have sewing dummy envy.
Nice job.

I know the pain of hand sewing, as I was for years saddled with an old wreck....

Try them out.
Pace your sewing slowly until you get scrap fabric.
Then move on to sew something simple, like a bag or a pillow.
