What is proper pronunciation for a Java 5 "Executor"?
Is it "executor" as in "the executor of a will"? Or is it "executor" as in "the executioner of a prisoner"?
Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at stackoverflow):
( That's why other" There is no step 3! (As good a pronunciation as any I'd say.)
The Executor is one who executes Runnables.
Each word should have one and only one correct pronunciation, the way is written.

Can we settle this, which is correct?
There should be two answers: please just vote up the question you agree with.
A1) Var-Char
A2) Var-Car
...unless there's an alternative pronunciation?

Ie, it is var-char and since we pronounce char as kyar so, I would like to think it should be pronounced as var-... .
Varchar is derived from char.
A1 - Var - Char...
I always say it "Var-Char" with a hard "ch" sound .
That's not a silent H.
A1) Var-Char.

Not entirely my field, but maybe build a neural network with several layers - earlier layers to guess the splitting of the words into sequential syllables, the later layers to guess the pronounciation of the said syllables .
