I think I may have head psoriasis.
I get a scab on my head, usually in the same place.
I pick it and it bleeds.
Anyone had this? Will the GP give me something for it?

Hi tink 3473 well I have plaque psoriasis to I scratch until it bleeds to so what I do is i take a hot shower first and after I'm done showering I rub pure coconut oil on my psoriasis it helps me if its helping you not to scratch.

I first got it when psoriasis is chronic you have to continue to seek help.
Psoriasis can be a depressing problem to younger kids.

But if it is psoriasis there are lots of specialist creams available - psoriasis on the face is treated differently to the rest of the body as the skin is a lot more delicate - no steroid creams etc.

I was diagnosed with Psoriasis today and whilst I understand it's a life long autoimmune disease and i know the basics such as thickening of skin, scaly appearance, I don't know much else.
