Thanks EJ, Puget Systems support suggested the culprit might be the latest tidy with memory and can step on other code running on your system when it needs more and crash.

I bought a house last summer it was built in 2005 has good insulation double pane windows but the furnace and hot water are both run on propane.
I live in puget sound area and propane is the most expensive way to heat so i'm looking at a heat pump system...
