For the Cardinals, out went Albert Pujols and in stepped Carlos Beltran to help fill some offense Pujols took with him.
Through 4/18:
Beltran: 5 homers
Pujols: 0 homers

I'm sure Beltran won't stay ahead of him for long, but I am loving it so far! He has been a great addition to the team .

no guarantee pujols ever becomes a top hitter again....
Just hope he gets a couple of injections to wake up his bat before it gets any worse .
Phillips is not lighting it up either, but Pujols looks terrible so far.

Because the Texas Rangers are dominating the AL West, and Yu Darvish went to 6-1 on the season .
He's on pace for like 8 HRs this year that is just unspeakable madness .

He's now 0-2 this evening, and his batting average has fallen to .198 .

Pujols and LaRussa are gone. I really like the Matheny hire, but he is unproven. Dotel just signed with Detroit. I'm sure more change is coming!
