Tadoussac is supposed to be very nice too, but we are going for 2 weeks to Montreal , Quebec....
They are both east of Quebec City.
We are staying in Beaupre and then going to La Malbaie .

Hello Folks! What is the best way for me to drive up to Quebec . I live in the DC area, and have 2 ways I can go: I81N to 20 to Quebec OR I95 to 287 to 87 to Quebec Which way is faster? Safer? Cheaper (no tolls) Thanks!

But, the drive on 87 - The Adirondack Northway is so beautiful anytime of the year .
I would recommend I95 to 287 to 87 - it probably is faster than the other route - but probably not by much - and you will pay tolls on 287 in NY - The Thruway .
