The lap throws are handy if you are small....
If you want something really heavy and low quality for the bed at home, try Target nice ones at Target, and we take them as our extra layers on all of our camping trips.

They didn't stitch the entire quilt together for the wedding, but stitched on a quilt last summer of our sacred well with three long flames of Imbas coming from it, with its Ash tree piece of art like a quilt....
With some embroidery.

I've done the lidded boxes. Hate it. It's a pain to drag the whole box down to look through it. I have a few that I printed off or tore out of magazines in page protectors in a notebook. It's just ok, but I don't want to take all of my commercial patterns...

Would a binder w/ the plastic pages inside work? Do you have a Walmart or Target nearby? They both half size binders, 5.5 x 8.5, and put my quilt patterns in the page protectors of that size are grouped by designer.
