I m thinking of changing my bike soon, at first the 09-011 R1s never tempted me as i never like the look of the front but now with the 2012 R1 tweaked front cowl i find the look very aggressive. I only do street riding, from where i am(asia) ...

The R1 is just a basic 1911.
That said, I don't see any reason to buy a pistol making them for decades .
Never touched or seen one.

I have a complete 08 R1 motor out of a wrecked bike. Looking for a complete bike that just needs motor. Also if anyone is interested in buying the motor message me. The motor had about 3000 miles on it when it was wrecked.
