I read the Raiders message boards and they said that numerous reports from local Oakland media that Richard Smith was offered the defensive coordinator job by Dennis Allen, but he turned him and the Raiders down to stay as LB's coach for Fox and the Broncos...

I think this is a mistake for the Raiders. The guy only has one year of coordinator experience. This almost seems like an Al Davis move. Can a ghost run a football team? LOL!!
