Guys, just need clarification as I'm at the stage of choosing my Builder for contruction of 3 Units.
From memory is it correct that in VIC it's compulsory for all new construction to have one of either Solar Hot Water OR Rain Water Tanks is this correct...

I am thinking it's ok because I've done it for fresh water aquariums, but I'm not sure for salt water...Can I use rain water that I collect in my rain barrel to mix with instant ocean for my salt water tank? That way...

My house and septic system were built in 1971, so are 40 years old. The septic guy told me the drain field would eventually have to be replaced and that would cost $6000. He said it would last longer if less water goes into it.

We bought a battery operated shower set. By taking off the shower nozzle, pulling back the fitting, this will fit into the tank inlet. It is fantastic for pumping water from containers into your tanks. No more holding the heavy 15ltr containers and funnels...

In food grade hose and connect to tank filler.
