What makes the EJ89 or Weber a beginner's razor? I'm curious if there's a list that exist any difference in the actual shave.

So i have been nothing but frustrated with the disposable razors available, i tried them all, mach 3, shick quatro, all that rubbish, the tag line is "Gillette, the best a man can get" yeah i don't think so.

My dream straight razor is a Japanese....
Although I do have a cut throat razor which I only use when I need to do formal disposable razor I only shave my side burns I do it everyday so they are easy to do

How many razors in a rotation is too many razors in a rotation? Just wondering what the outer bounds are for some of you folks as far as an active rotation. I've got eight razors now, and since I only shave every couple of days, I'm not working through...

Just picked up this razor for £3. Was £9.99.
I would never pay full price but at £3 I think it's a good deal.
Good razor quality I find but I'm sure not everyone will agree

I'd recommend that anyone buys a decent quality safety razor, some good shaving soap and a decent brush.

I'd like to give straight razor shaving a go, and figure on scouting antique shops for one on the cheap. Can you guys give me advice on how to identify a quality razor from a crap razor?

If it turns out to not be too great, try out a Dovo razor if you get the shot at buying a new razor hard to beat one made in the USA hartsteel

Razor or Electric Shaver?
I always use a Razor (Close shave) but am thinking of switching to an Electric as Razors are ridiculously expensive £6+ for a pack of 4
Which do you opt for and why?
Can Electric Shavers give as close a shave as Razors? if so...
