I believe RealNetworks eventually removed the offending code, but RealPlayer never spyware scandal a few years back.
Stopped using it.

Why did Intel buy them?
Probably because their chips are getting squashed by GPU's (CUDA/OpenCL) and they need an edge? If they can produce better software for their (newly) OpenCL compatible GPU's, then they can get an advantage .

Don't click on the unlimited or plus.
Click on the music icon, to the left click on comcast rhapsody radio and some stuff should pop up and just follow the prompts .
