Hey All,
I've got a collection of old tapes and vinyl that is sitting around not being used... simply because of the lack of kit to play it on! The only semi-working turn table I have is part of my parents hifi... and only one of the cars has a cassette...

The software situation to sort it out later on the computer is a pain though .
I think you can phono into you pc sound card (mic in) and record it in media player as a pure of the vinyl.

There have been a couple mentions of this product in some record flattening threads. It looks interesting, and sells for $99.95. You stick it in your home oven, and it is supposed to take the warps out of vinyl records.
But does it work?

So, I just realized my favorite bands all have vinyl out for their CDs although they've been around for a few years and that's it. And it got me wondering, is vinyl that different from CDs? Some people are purists, I get that, and say there's a difference...

That my record collection used to require! I went back to Vinyl simply because of the Loudness WarPersonally, I would buy a used Technics 1200 and never have to worry about a record player again to worry about a record player....
