A question of mine answered. Just recently I saw Redhat Linux for the first time. Its purdy. Anyway, how
to if necessary, but I just never saw the need). I'd like to run off of Win98 and Redhat.
Any tips, tools
instead of redhat. Redhat has not been updated and will not be for non-paying users.Quote: : Quote

Well I was wondering which new version of linux to get. I currently have redhat 7.3. I have used
which isn't as compatible, which has less support available on the net, and which ultimately seems
is a challange. I just enjoy trying to get my sound card to work or have it recognise my usb flash card

redhat 7.2 and 7.1 are just my favorite. i have not figured out how to make the newer versions run
card NVDA GTS 64, onboard sound, pci 2.0 pci card and firewire card. DVD burner and cdrom. I know
you whitebox linux or similar has them, don't know about that.
If you want stable, go with Debian
