Nostromo/Refinery
Thought I would share my build of the Nostromo/Refinery from Alien. Platform with Nostromo attached will be be 2 feet long and 18 inches wide. I'm nearly finished with the lower section. Here is a link to some pics.

The Coryton refinery in Essex has filed for bankruptcy. It supplies 20% of fuel to the south east of England. A union official said this afternoon that this could add a few pence per litre to the cost of fuel.

Good news fro the workers The Coryton refinery in Essex has filed for bankruptcy.
PWC have said they have high hopes to find a buyer for the refinery.

One of the UK's biggest refineries has filed for insolvency. On the news, it was remarked that many of the big oil companies now no longer were involved in refineries as such. This one was owned by a Swiss company and BP was one of its biggest customers...

Anyone else seen the news. the oil refinery thingy blew up in Hemel... got some friends there. they both alright. but they said that the explosion had a huge shockwave. the blast woke them up. some of their neighbours windows got shattered by the shockwave...

Sat Imagery shows the plume, north of London; I bet the immediate area wreaks of Kerosene right now .

Buddy works for an oil refinery and has posted the following on another forum... apparently the national union is advising a strike to improve working conditions:

If there was a strike in another refinery they would probably just open of those billion dollar profits....
I'm sure oil they are not profitable right now.
Some of those billion dollar profits we read about can go towards refinery modernization.
