Curacao Oil Refinery Smell/Pollution: Issue??
Hi,
My family is thinking of visiting Curacao this summer and would like to know if smells or smoke from the oil refineries on the island is an issue or not at the Marriott and/or downtown? What direction and how close are the refineries to the Marriott...

SA, Venezuela's state-run oil company, closed some units May 5 at the Isla refinery on the Caribbean there I can count on one hand.
And no you cannot see the refinery from that area.
I am sorry that if you are on Bonaire , you can see the....

Buying in Portsmouth - I'm guessing none of the fuel there comes from the Grangemouth Refinery of the fuel there comes from the Grangemouth Refinery.

Since there are/could be many different technologies / units in a refinery, it would be etter a petroleum refinery is something like a cofee-making machine! DUH! why not post some good books the refinery operation manual file.

No, you cannot see the oil refinery from Palm or Eagle Beach .
The oil refinery is on the opposite/aruba-digital-map/
The refinery is in district 87, Palm Beach is in 11 (just to avoid any discussion.

Breezes oil refinery Jibacoa!
Can anyone fill me in on the oil refinery located close to Jibacoa , and the oil spill they had a few years back. It's funny, you don't read much about it...so it can't be that bad...can it?
