I just don't understand the purpose of the lip around the jacks. I understand the lip on the bottom which provides standoff for the battery compartment screw and the pad takes care of that for mounting, but the angle jacks that I used made mounting impossible...

So that's just a first thing.
How are you being "published" if you are paying for your own publication? I have a self published book, I wouldn't refer to myself as being "published" at all .
