Good Reviews, "How To", and Articles - Recommended - [15 Dec 2008]
"Popular Photography & Imaging" is the photography magazine I most often sit down and read. It is geared to photographers of all levels and generally has more than one or two interesting bits in it for me. First off, it does have a lot advertisements...

Too many advertisements and not enough content - [06 Sep 2007]
Magazine keeps you in touch with respect to new equipment (i.e., advertisments especially but also product reviews) and some technique. But just too many damn advertisements.

Good value for beginners - [15 Aug 2007]
I subscribed to this magazine a few months ago. Via Amazon, or the magazine itself, it's about a dollar an issue. For that price, you really can't go wrong. I'm a relative amateur, and I'm starting to look for ways to get better. "Popular Photography"...

Good product reviews - [14 Aug 2007]
I've been a reader of Popular Photography for some time and find it useful, but certainly not perfect. The strength of the magazine is that the testing of cameras and related gear is very quantitative in nature and allows you to compare similar products...
