My husband and I live in NYC. This fit the window perfectly, works great and is not that noisy. In fact, there are times when I have to turn down the cooling dial to Mid Cold, not Max Cold because I get too cold. It was also a good price and was delivered...

I love this product. It was fairly easy to set up. There is a small noise that I've noticed, but I don't let it bother me. It makes our house cool and that's what I wanted. I love that it's small and your able to just plug it in. You don't have to attach...

You MUST install this with the back bottom tilted down! - [24 Jun 2009]
If you don't, it will make a lot of noise and you will hear the water splashing around. It may take some experimenting, but when you get the exact angle, you will know it because you won't hear the noise. You must also rinse out the filter every week ...

We bought this unit last fall when it was on clearance to replace an old unit. Just put it in today as the old one finally pooped out. So far no odd noises so we will hope it stays quiet. While reading some of the other reviews I noticed people were commenting...

Bought this on sale for , less a relatives target discount (10%). My first impression: The unit is installed in my bedroom window (bedroom is upstairs, approx. 14' x 18'). I didnt think it would cool it down much... if at all. But to my surprise, it does...

But if you are hearing, and enjoy sleeping, forget this one. The amount of water splashing around inside is comically loud. This is the worst air conditioner I've heard, and I've heard a bunch. We bought two at the same time thinking about the money savings...
