great sunscreen for my 6 month old - [07 Apr 2011]
I love Cali baby products and decided to try this sunscreen for my 6 month old. It worked great. It is quite thick but we had no problem rubbing it in. It does leave a slight white/purple film in spots because of the zinc content. It did not bleach any...

Absolutely love it, non greasy, no streaks, no burns, and no toxins - [18 Nov 2010]
I'm late to the game and just realized that there are lots of harmful agents in even the supposedly gentle sunscreen for kids. We went thru testing lots of sunscreens, but b/c I don't want the chemical blocks (anything that doesn't have titanium or zinc...

Nice product overall - [27 Jun 2010]
I've bought this sunscreen along with Sun'n'Fun baby by Sweetsation. Although it did a reasonably good job protesting my kid, it's a bit too greasy for my liking and was leaving white greasy streaks over everything my son touched. That was a little annoying...

pricey but worth it - [19 Jun 2010]
My son HATES wearing sunscreen, but for some reason he actually LOVES wearing this California Baby sunscreen and will eagerly apply it himself. Though you do have to vigorously rub it in, and yes, it does leave a slight sheen on the areas applied, it ...

Really good, really expensive - [12 Jun 2010]
First off, this tiny tiny tube is extremely expensive (no matter what the price and who sells it as it always come up to 20 bucks a pop due to shipping). I think I am regulated to just use it on my face and use some so-so sunscreen on the rest of my body...

So far so good - [10 Jun 2010]
I've been using this product for myself and my 2.5-yr-old daughter (both fair-skinned) for a couple of months now. The main reason for choosing titanium/zinc dioxide based sunscreen was the recommendation by the EWG. So after reading reviews on different...

Great for my pale redheads - [22 Apr 2010]
I've been using this sunscreen for years on my very pale, freckled redheaded daughters. I use this, and the face stick on them and they have never had a burn. Yes, it is hard to put on, but worth it. **BUYER BEWARE** I just ordered this off the Target...

Good for Sensitive Skin - [27 Oct 2009]
I am an adult and I use it. I have very sensitive skin and it works great. It does come out with a bit of white film. Use less and rub in and it help reduce the whiteness. Otherwise it does not irritate the skin.

Costly but safe & effective - [29 Sep 2009]
When we had our first child, we researched what type of sunblock was safe to use for our baby. We found that products with titanium dioxide or zinc oxide were the safest. Both of these ingredients rest on top of the skin, rather than getting absorbed ...
