Great read - [16 Nov 2009]
You won't be able to put this one down until you have finished it. For a author that is not Autistic or have a child that is he could not have done a better job allowing us a glimpse of that world. Bravo.

Capturing! - [13 Nov 2009]
Once you pick up this book, you won't be able to put it down. The storyline just kept me asking for more. You will also learn simple puzzling problems. I enjoyed how the book, in some way, interacts with its reader with the images and visuals. I second...

A book about differences - [08 Nov 2009]
Told from the point of a view of a teenage boy with autism (perhaps Aspergers) this novel is a great way for us to recognize the predetermined ways in which we view the world. The idea that we are free to make whatever choices we want is an appealing ...

An enjoyable but easy read - [19 Oct 2009]
I don't normally read books but wanted to start. I thought this book might be a good start, and it certainly was. Written from the perspective of an autistic boy, it's a light, easy read and very conversational. Overall, I found myself laughing out loud...

Voice of Autism - [17 Oct 2009]
Well written and believable. Humor and real life trauma. It really gave insight into the sound and touch sensitive nature of an Autistic young man who just doesn't get the little nuances of every day communication.

good but becomes very tedious - [10 Jun 2009]
I dont know if I really like this book that much. When I first started reading it, I thought that the new style was very interesting and progressive because I had never seen anything like it before. As the book went on, though, I grew to dislike the narrator...

Nice and Easy - [10 Jun 2009]
Well, I had to read this for a final in AP PSYCHOLOGY. I would have to say I liked it because it was an easy read and definitely not a traditional novel. A great story really about a curious boy.

Don't read this if you have an autistic child. Amazon, stop "recommending" it to me, for the love of Pete.
