These are flimsy. I guess they are ok if your very gentle with them. NOT FOR KIDS. If your buying for a kid I would suggest a shaker.

I've had this player for 3 years now and use it an average of 10 hours a week, usually more. I predominently use it with a car adapter on my commute, but also use it with headphones sometimes. Great, dependable player!!
