I just received the album today. It's a great performance by Buddy, but the sound is very modern for me-I still give it 5 stars 'cause that's just my opinion. I prefer his older stuff-my favorite album is "Damn Right I've Got the Blues". My favorite tracks...

Buddy Guy is 1 of the greatest blues guitarists/singers. He played with Muddy Waters as a young man many years ago & is still going strong. The addition of guests Derrick Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Eric Clapton & Robert Randolph are a nice surprise...

This is a great Buddy Guy record. It suffers from dynamic range compression in my opinion (like almost all new records), but do not let that deter you. Easily a five-star album.

What can I say, if you like Buddy Guy then turn up the volume and zone out. If you've never heard of BG then buy this fantastic album, turn up the volume and zone out. I like all tracks number 3, is my fav. Blues, rock and a whole lot of soul.
