Pros: Easy to use, doesn't bake the disk drive, quiet. It's so good, I bought another, similar version which takes a SATA drive as well. I'd buy it again! Cons: None that I've noticed.

Pros: Having both USB and FireWire is a pro for laptop users, since it allows them to save 1 USB port for something else. Also, having both 4-pin and 6-pin sockets on the box allows the owner to carry one less cable.
