my first EL wire attempt - [12 Oct 2007]
Pros: Easy to use, has an extra power slot if i want to run another wire. I like case modding, and this is a good way to do it without being afriad of shorting anything out or ruining anything on my case.
Cons: the shade of blue doesn't match my case...

Squeal so bad, had to take it out! - [26 Sep 2007]
Pros: It lights up like it shows in the picture though the color is not exactly on and does not match Logisys' CCL blue lights.
Cons: High pitched SQUEAL that was so bad I had to take it out.
Other Thoughts: Don't get this, get the CCL blues or UVs...

Pros: Cheap. Looks cool.
Cons: The inverter on this thing squeals at a very high, annoying pitch. The pitch will drive you insane as you can't really tell which direction it is coming from. I even wrapped the inverter in foam but the noise will cut ...

Pros: Cool lighting for any application. Tried it inside my keyboard for back light, tried it in my case for accent, tried it in my car for seat underglow, and finally installed it on a glass shelf for underglow.

Versatile.
No noise here. Maybe I got lucky, I dunno.
