Thoroughly enjoyable. I have a friend who grew up in a similar way in Colorado. I keep wanting to send her the book and yet days have gone by with it wrapped up and ready to go and I just cant bring myself to put it in the mailbox. I guess that says something...

To me this well written book was so enjoyable from beginning to the end; it is the way it was and I almost found myself envying this family. It took me back to basics and a time I remembered so well and identified with their way of life.
