It does exactly what a heat gun should, and it's variable temperature. It includes lots of optional scrapers and attachment in the box. The only improvement I would ask for is a temperature scale in Fahrenheit for the American market.

This heat gun failed to help me remove a thick layer of plasticized paint. The unit is built very cheaply, and the so called accessories look more like toys, than tools: made up of very thin tin. I would not buy this product again.

Only used it once since I bought it to remove some old political bumper stickers from my car. It did a great job of softening the adhesive so I was able to remove the stickers in one piece. The gun was a lot lighter than I expected.

I installed my wood dash kit with this gun. It works great. Don't know how long it will last, but it has the "feel" of quality. The dials are smooth. The little motor sounds healthy. I think I got a great value here.

The Hot Air Gun was lightweight, and did not feel uncomfortable. I had no issues with the gun shutting off due to overheating, and I had it running on the highest setting for several minutes. Make sure you plug it in to a outlet that is not very busy....
