Hi guys there is no price for the rods you sell on your web site how much are they? Also I'm going for a large port head at some point. How would it compare to one of you A pack heads? Thanks.

is it true that saab turbo rods are forged and better than the vauxhall ones? for both 3.0 engines i know that the saab engine had a low boost turbo fitted to the rear manifold but....or is that just some pish about the rods? lol

Afaik rods on the 3.0s are fine with torque, it's revs they don't like.
It's just oil at the bottom iirc.
Yes, I think the Saab turbo rods are forged, making them indeed better than Omega rods.

I read recently that the pre 1980 connecting rods in B21's are weaker than the later ones. Is this true? I thought all B21/B23's had M rods?

Skinny rods were 85 to @ 89ish on the B230F & B230FT.

Basically there I's no safe torque figure on standard rods if you....
Stock mapped cars have even bent rods.
If the gear changes are smooth and power delivery gradual then I can't see any reason to bend rods what torque your running.
