With regards to scanlations, there are three ways in which the copyright of the original mangaka fails the first test.
I was a distributor worldwide.
I'm just a reader of scanlations, not belonging to any scanlation team.

So Red Hawk Scanlations (mostly the ones who have been doing Bakuman series) have received a copyright infringement notice. They are dropping Bakuman..so I don't know where to go now for English...
