You might also be able to expose the copper trace that leads to A19 and solder to that instead, but if you... .
There might be an alternate point for A19 somewhere but I'm not sure .
You can't flash the TSOP after booting up the console with an LPC modchip .

It should function fine if you leave a disk in it .
Did you try a different DVD drive in that xbox?
Give the xbox a tap above the dvd drive when you press eject and see what happens .
Probably not the motherboard...

Turn of the xbox, and set the switches like above .
Either 1 or 2.
The switches must be
Chip Enabled ON (if OFF than led is red)
Flash Protect ON
And the banks, you can select yourself .
You have a Xecuter2 chip.

If it doesnt work, you can use that adapter to format 1-16gb of ANY HDD to be xbox compatible .
I dont know for sure, but i doubt it will work
if you have it though, why not try it yourself? you could have had the answer faster than it took to post .
