For the most part programmers....
Computer Scientist
and
Computer Programmer
its the same tends to be the builder of the programs while the scientist focuses on the finding ways to implement the peices.

Soon, I expect to be asked to revise and improve existing code written by engineers and scientists.

As someone coming from a non...

The greatest errors an engineer/scientist can do as a programmer is think they "know to program".
However, my research.
My degree is in biomedical engineering and I'm a research scientist.

Hello,
Entering my fourth year of university, I feel that I've stagnated as a computer scientist. I'm a fairly decent programmer as is - I've taken an array of courses on algorithms, formal languages, formal logic and the like (as well as a ton of math...

Wait... So most scientists believe in God?
Oh the irony.
