Of pain, and get some
cool capacity, by instead using VMWare to run the XP box and either
the Debian for OpenServer, as SCO is seriously bankrupt and quality
support for these older versions of OpenServer continuing seems
unlikely.

SCO tells that this controller
will be emulated to IDE.
The disccontroller is an intel 82801GR.
Install VMWare, either VMWare ESX or a decent Linux with
VMWare.
From your SCO system, don't
bother.

so blasted big I'm guessing you've never had to image a SCO box before? It's somewhat
akin to putting your head.
MS Virtual PC flakes out with shonky (to SCO) disk controller.

Second.
If you absolutely must do this under SCO
OpenServer, find the money to update to 5.0.7/software/data/informix/ids/requirements/sco-oserver.html
lists 5.0.5 and 5.0.7, not 5.0.4.
To the curb.
