Hi all. Running a mid-range 2011 11" MBA with the latest version of Lion. WiFi problems are getting to be unbearable.
I will preface this by saying that my university's WiFi routers are patchy at best, and that their user-ID system might be causing some...

I also tried the Google DNS thing but to no avail.
Location was already set as automatic.
Go to ->System Preferences->Network and perform some settings (especially, set WiFi location No luck.

Way to get proper access would be to set up directional antennae and segregate portions of the room the base of bandwidth and access points it doesn't much matter how you set it up, it's just not going their target audience....

That's a very weird set up why haven't you just connected the wifi router to the ISP modem then plug the wireless router into that and set up bridging as suggested here
