The roofer folded the ridge shingles in some weird way.
now they are crumbling.
rest of the shingles on roof are fine.
why are the ridges failing?

NOt that a Warranty Claim will be honored- but organic shingles tend to loose all their granules fiberglass- the shingles in the body, and they had no caps so roofers would make caps out of organic 3-Tab type shingles- but....

I had a new roof installed less than 2 years ago. The shingles are blowing off.
Old shingles were 30 years old Ashphalt 3 tab. 6 nails in each shingle now troubles.
Had the roof stripped and re covered, this time fibersglass shingle. Now they keep blowing...

It get replaced? Your lucky of you get 15 years out of 3 tab shingles.

It looks like much less labor than installing shingles, and in fact, one site showed the metal roof being installed right over top of the old shingles....

I see the doctor on Monday, but I'm 99.999% sure it's Shingles. Hurts like hell. What can I do as OTC doesn't seem to be helping at all.
