Basically what I'm asking is could Nagato/Tobi/Madara simply pull a mountain face of a mountain and drop it on an opponent?

Think about for a second In order for someone to react/dodge an oncoming attack, one needs a warning of some sort. You have to be able to view the threat, sense it, smell it, etc... before it hits you in order to react in the first place
