This appears to be the only benefit, that stretching makes you better at stretching. It does not reduce soreness. It does not reduce injuries. And it does not enhance performance. Moreover, it may be harmful. Yes, I do stretch. But I can't argue against...

I dont get how they can measure soreness, if you stretch before and after a run is how do you measure how sore you'd be if you didnt stretch? Personally I feel much better after a run if I stretch and wake up feeling....

ITT: i give the lazy man's stretches. true story brahs, learn from my mistake..and mistakes of many others. i know stretching sucks ass and is boring/sucky in general...but what sucks alot more is when you pull something and then gotta go to chiropractor...

Now i stretch before every set....
Could rock up to football matches straight from bed and onto the pitch .
I was a freak <28.
Never used to stretch too much, but started doing it after lifting to stretch.
And I didn't have to ask.
I have really narrow feet so *most* shoes fall off my heel. Debating some Nine West patent pumps. The 6.5 fits snuggly. The 7's fall off my heels.

Picked up 'the Whartons Stretch Book' and read some sport.
If the weather what stretching/flexibility books they had.
This opinion (may or) may not reflect the latest research .
Not stretch cold muscles.
