Not sure if y'all read the Peachparts SL forum, but barri over there is selling his megasquirted Euro 450SL.
Not trying to sell it for him, but I was impressed with his Jag seats and electric door locks!

If you're using the OEM halogens from that era I thought that many years ago Drew did a write up on how to... .
You could even do it to your radio if you really wanted but I wouldnt suggest it .
Just find something with switched power and run a wire to it.. .

The turn signal/cruise control stalks were loose on my 1999 E300d and would rotate every time I used the turn signal. Sleepwalker pointed out that the problematic part was the collar around the steering column where a machine screw had loosened.

You need to remove the....
You now have access to the turn signal module which is on a short connector and needs to be removed .
Steering wheel pulls off easily revealing this:
After removing the two screws (seen in above picture), youll see the view below .
