It depends on how your shop would use the open source software.
The (government) shop I work at is required to have support contracts for any products such as Notepad++ or Paint.NET.

I've never bought any close but often pick up books .
There's a load of charity shops near work and I'd often go in fro a browse during lunch.

If i craft for buying/seeling mats/shots then there is no need for people to put shops anymore.
If they remove shops they need to find a solution for buying shots/mats etc from auction house.

Bridal shops aren't dumb....
Dresses more expensive than other shops BUT the headpeices are GORGEOUS! if you try to look for a modest wedding dress in a bridal gown rental shop, you can have the opportunity to realize even more savings.
