Sometimes they have pictures, sometimes it's just a plant....
Since it's February though and most of the deciduous shrubs will look dead, you can ask your nursery who their supplier is and go to the supplier's website.
I would take her to a nursery.

I am looking at planting some evergreen shrubs in spring, mainly for privacy. Minimum height of 5 feet and anywhere up to about 12 feet. The area is partly shaded and there is not a lot of lateral space so a more upright or narrow shrub would work best...

We have been very happy with our selection of varigated privets as a screen and backdrop for our flower bed. I should add that this photo is up at our Kansas place and not in Texas. What shrubs have you found that also work well for screening?

Sandy and unsuitable are two problems and are parallel.
IMO B
Covered with low shrubs ( past participle) is correctly modifying the land (subject).
