I wouldn't worry about OZs of silver from other countries losing their value faster than a silver....
To sell easily in the future I would stick with the Silver Eagle here in the US since they are so popular here and more easily recognized.

As it is now, Undead get damaged for 9d6 with every hit + burst/blast effects with lvl 12 greensteel weapons. New epic bows get only 4d6 damage per hit, and in most situations, doubled damage die and blunted arrows/bolts are not worth as much as 5d6 on...

The best way to get the purest silver is to dissolve....
A solid block of silver chloride comes in useful too, as an electrode.
Silver chloride can be melted and forms a very durable ingot itself.
Your reduction may not have been complete.
