Another which hosting question Ive looked around the forum and the few hosting questions that I found seem to get answers that are across the board. Wondered if anything has changed. More specifically was looking at Siteground.com and they seem to specialize...

I can't really speak to what kind of support they offer, though with most hosting services you're going to end up getting referred back here if you ask about... .
I would go with linode for a VPS.
Seriously, no one has any advice? I'm not a fan of Siteground .

Damn... was really interested in using this template... same problem as others...
My Joomla is clean... provided by siteground.com who host thousands of other sites on their servers.... but I had the same problems.. where I could not get the menu... tried...

What are your send settings (in config/config.php file)?
Also, error 2006 usually means exactly what it reports, ie: Database server has "gone away", it's gone down for a period, try again later .
