Of mine that got one of these old 577 Snider's we took it out and shot it about a year ago, nothing' translation to a 2.00" length .577 Snider would need some adjusting, assuming similar weight payloads wonder how it relates to pressure....

I have 1 conversion (Mark I*, converted from an 1861 Enfield, the Snider breech system isn't exactly....
Though you probably will be told not use smokeless in a Snider.
You might have better luck on the British Militaria site, Snider forum.

If I were you I would advise against re-sizing your NDFS Snider to take .590 projectiles, ball or bullet.
If I were you, I would keep my cases shot in your new Snider separate and simply decap and reload them each time without resizing.
