I'm curious as to why so many cookbooks instruct those wanting to cook dried beans: "Soak overnight".
I'm wondering if it is ok to soak them during the day, as long as it's done during a solar eclipse? In a light-sealed pot?
What about at night, but near...

More isn't usually too big wanting to cook dried beans: "Soak overnight....
If I soak them too long, some beans generally soak dried beans for 6-10 hours (8 hours +/- 2 hours).
A bit of a different experience with soaking my beans.

Hi ladies
DS has been waking up for the last couple of months soaking wet - right through pjs and on brolly sheet (thank God for brolly sheets!). He does have a bottle of milk (about 250 mls) before bed so this is definitely contributing but just wondering...

I stayed away from the nappy pants because for some reason... .
Nanny's or the Huggies Junior were what I found the best for my first who was a heavy night wetter .
Might just be us, But we found the nappy pants to leak at night so went back to regular huggies .

The warrior can soak with Shield wall+Another CD I believe, We've had ours soak before....
If you're right on the edge, enhance and warrior for the same soak spot the least damage possible later in the fight.
For the 15% to pet transfer.

I'm grilling some steaks tonight and I usually soak my chips in water. I know some ppl do whiskey or beer. What's yalls opinions on this. How much how long? They are hickory chips. Thanks!

As for the amounts enough so the chips soak it all up.
Gasoline & report back
I use water, beer and whiskey are too expensive just to soak chips IMO It will depend a lot on your taste.

+1 for selcon I soak nori.

I also use garlic guard.
Selcon, since I have been soaking my fishes food they have noticeably gained weight and their coloring has increased dramatically.

Ok so I have had quite a few people ask how I did this so here you go
This is Super easy and has little digging.
Materials:
*Stiff garden edging mine was 4" x 20'=$9.00 I actually cut off about 3 feet to fit the space ...

Great idea for the shallow pond! You have a really nice set up for your turtles! Just be careful of predetors .
