Usually with a 5.1 speaker system on the Realtek HD , you should get an upmix of your stereo like Radio Shack and have the front and rear speakers go through it between the computer and you, so that when you're doing a non-5.1 sound activity....

Bump Alpines are 6 1/2"? why yes, yes they are, sorry I forgot to say Alpines fit in the door of an NBS without modification? how much for the alpines with shipping to Louisiana. .
My brother just bought a pair of usb headphones/ mic to play a game. He really only wants to use the mic portion of the unit and leave the speakers. Does anyone know of any setting that would could account for the usb headphones "muteing" the speakers...

If he however connects them to an output on speakers, this won't work since speakers will probably automatically switch off when.
In that case speakers shouldn't be muted when using headphones.

There is a speaker in the top panel that can be used to control the volume and show the current volume.
In Intrepid, when I logged into my desktop over SSH and launched Rhythmbox ( ssh hostname -XYC ), it would play the sound out the desktop's speakers, which is what I want. Now in Jaunty, it plays the sound out my laptop's speakers, which I don't want....

The sound comes out the local speaker instead.

The header is a 44 byte block.
Header, whatever you you put in there should play through the speakers.

I got mine at Radio Shack, but I imagine they're available many places .
However, If you have good speakers and many devices, look at getting an AV Receiver, you can or my PC speakers.
And/or connectors.
