accept personal checks in order to pay off the ticket. Any reason why?

"Speeding" is common, I have never heard "over speeding."
You can say "going over speed limit."

I recently got a speeding ticket because my speedometer was broken while my mechanic was working
. If you did win your speeding ticket, I'd just cite you for defective equipment before you left
speeding regardless of whether or not the speedometer was broken or not.Not guilty by reason of insanity

Which is the best charge to get someone for speeding escpecially in a school zone when I aint got
a radar gun? Reckless Driving? Unsafe Speed? How would I justify them in court?
