I was wondering just how many on here, cut and split their own firewood and thought it would be a good idea to have a thread for pics
I'll start it off... I hoping to build a splitter, when I get a final idea as to what I want.....

Just a quick question about wood splitters Hi there iam in the process of making a wood splitter. Iam thinking of running a 5.5hp and a haldex 11gpm 2 stage pump what are your thoughts on this will it work?

It works fine.
splitter from northern tool came stock with a 5 hp engine and the same haldex 11 gpm pump.

So i saw a post on here about splitters for a Leon and basically there isnt any.
was surfing the net tonight and came across this...

So have been trying to get one of these eco log splitters. Its just a simple hand lever that has a little splitter point that presses into the log. It makes splitting these eco logs pretty easy with out sending chuncks of them everywhere. Only thing is...

Ok I feel s out of the loop with these,
I wasn't paying attention at all when all the threads were created and never really seen too many fitted pictures,
I remember one that was quite flat and had those two support rods holding it to the bumper, I think...

Chris' DIY thread shows the splitter, but no IR install pics I can think of off the top with support rods is the APR splitter....
APR still makes these AFAIK, and they're now working on a wing .
One with support rods is the APR splitter.

Building a wood splitter, I need some opinions please I am building a wood splitter basically from scratch.
