For spyware, MacScan is probably your best bet.

I have a bit of a spyware problem.

I just found out about GMABooster for OSX which supposedly boosts performance for the Intel GMA 950 in my mac mini.
As anyone used this? Is it spyware? The site seems real but at the same time seems a little bit untrustworthy.

I have seen several shareware sites that feature "virus free", and "spyware free" certified logos. I am planning on marketing my software for profit, but would it be worthwhile to get some sort of certification logo on the download page for my software...

As for searching for spyware, I'd normally use Ad-Aware and Spybot.
But it is very easy to use.

I recently reinstalled the OS (XP Home) on a friend's heavily spyware/adware infected machine. It appears as though his kids (7 and 11 years I believe) were visiting sites that offered downloads for search bars, screensavers, and "cute" cartoony animations...

I highly recommend running Snort on a machine somewhere near the core of your network, and span (mirror) one (or more) ports from somewhere along your core network... .
I think this will be the best solution for you .
You can make Snort scan traffic for viruses.

If there is anyone here that uses spyware terminator, do you know how to turn off confirmation messages?
i'll click on 'allow' or 'deny' or 'install' and i'll get a message on screen telling me what i've just done.
