The FU code was being sported by 453 squadron spitfires when the squadron reformed in Europe not necessarily reveal which squadron code the aircraft in particular wore, but you might find out something Squadron RAAF being rescued....

Couldn't find will be able to find the "smallest squadron" very easily.

The squadron was formed on 1 October 1943 at RAF Kelstern from 'C' flight of 100 Squadron.
Squadron motto was We Avenge.
625 Squadron RAF was a bomber squadron of the Royal Air Force during the Second World War.

Picked this great A2 jacket up this week, its from the 331st bomb squadron 94th bomb group 8th airforce, this came right out of the woodwork this week.I also got his cap and his military school uniforms. The jacket was owned by a Ronald E Schleppy.

We see these regularly on Saginaw bay, they are awesome.
