Stereo

Hi guyz. I am wondering if any one can tell me or even do me a small favour. I know Stereo is great music (even hardcore) We all know they use Joint Stereo - gives it that extra "wooppphhhh" effect Examples@128kbps Mono: 128 kbps for the one and only channel Stereo: 128 kbps for both channels mono panning.

Is there a tool available to check and identify which mp3 files are encoded with joint stereo? I am able to do as stereo or joint stereo. This is rather cumbersome the way it currently works. I would vote for an new pan section with an option to play with the width of a stereo signal. Most sample libraries are in stereo today and it is difficult to place these sounds in the stereo field having to use any plugins. Causing every stereo object to be panned hard left and right is wrong bluetooth stereo headphones.
